PROFILE

PERSONALITY

Driven by a strategic vision and a personal passion for timepieces – that’s the core of our company. Both are embodied by entrepreneur and scientist Prof. Dr. Ulrich L. Rohde. He became interested in timekeeping at a young age – in an environment that perceived time as both a value and a tool. As early as the 1930s, the family-owned company Rohde & Schwarz developed one of the first industrially manufactured time measurement systems, the CFQ quartz clock. These early technical pioneering achievements, such as the first portable standard time system, continue to shape the Tempus Arte Group’s self-conception to this day. We feel honored to share it with everyone whose favorite watch not only tells the time, but also radiates the power of artistry, tradition, and new ideas.

WATCHES

The right use of the time we have is an art by itself. The watch we wear is a valuable instrument and reliable companion for that purpose. Inspired by these thoughts, the manufacturers of the Munich Watch Group produce hardware of select quality in the best tradition of craftsmanship. We see our watches as both a tool and a statement – proof that their wearers know and appreciate the value of time. Therefore we are selective in our choice of components, careful in the design of our models, uncompromising in our production, and responsible for the future use of each of our watches. They should permanently show the time just as reliably as they shape the style of their wearers.
